Aeroflex
Project:
Definition of the test strategy for the current and future products in TM500 family for Aeroflex.

Creation of the test requirements specification from the business needs and test strategy, including analysis and evaluation of test requirements and their capability to deliver adequate testing of the network and it's various elements.

Thales
Project:
Definition of a system test plan for verification of the operational characteristics of an Internet POP within a 3G UMTS network for integration into a Global Broadband IP Network with Thales.
 

Developing the specific test specifications and procedures in line with the test strategy to implement effective testing of all types of network, from complete end to end systems testing to individual network elements. Fully documented in line with customer processes and standards.

General Dynamics
Project:
Developed and implemented the test specifications and procedures for the successful testing of Platform Battlefield Information Systems for General Dynamics.
 

We provide independent project management of third party or customer test programs and systems. Customers are often faced with the need for independent verification and management of their test environments as part of a test strategy that demands transparency or simply to provide expert resources not available in-house. e2E can provide significant levels of experience and expertise in the management of complex test programs..

Ericsson
Project:
Management of the test and integration activities of the Presence solution during conformance testing and final acceptance. Presence is an IMS service which manages the collection and controlled dissemination of presence awareness information over the BT network. The project was managed for Ericsson at both the Ericsson labs and BT network centre.
 

Often the weak link in an effective test program, the scheduling and execution of complex, or for that matter simple, testing procedures can result in missed deadlines and expensive corrective procedures to get a project back on track. e2E’s extensive skills in managing, scheduling, planning and executing test programs delivers test results on time.

Inmarsat
Project:
e2E provided a team of five test engineers and a test manager to manage the generation, execution and documentation of all eleven systems test campaigns for the Broadband Global Area Network (BGAN) for Inmarsat.
 

Often our customers have all the expertise they need in house to effectively design, build and test their networks. However the specification, procurement and evaluation of equipment necessary to complete an effective test program is often a specialised area. e2E have many man years experience in supporting the cost effective procurement of test equipment and services both for ourselves and our customers.

EADS Astrium
Project:
Specification and procurement, for EADS Atrium, of the in-orbit test equipment used to test the Skynet broadband network.
 

In the fast moving world of network protocols and standards within complex customer specific networks, most network testing is by nature delivered via bespoke test systems. e2E have developed many bespoke test environments for major public and private networks across the commercial and military markets.

Inmarsat
Project:
Provided configuration and management of the Broadband Global Area Network (BGAN) reference test facility used by terminal equipment manufactures for inter-working the Inmarsat BGAN service.
 

Most complex networks must be tested to prove capability in line with their business drivers well in advance of their physical implementation; this creates a need for simulation of the networks and testing these simulations against test strategies and requirements. These predominantly software simulations are complex by nature and require a detailed understanding of all aspects of networks and testing. e2E have successfully provided network simulation and test systems for many customers including highly sensitive military and satellite networks.

General Dynamics
Project:
Design of bespoke WinRunner tool for simultaneously testing multiple software applications residing on multiple computers for the General Dynamics Platform Battlefield Information Systems Application. The tool successfully demonstrated to the customer that software was functionally robust and requirements being met.
 

The final pre-operational network testing stage provides network owners and operators with the evidence needed to sign off their network for operational use. e2E works across all areas of acceptance and assurance and has previously taken full responsibility for both system and service acceptance of communications networks, including satellite. This typically involves the development of test strategies, plans, procedures, actual on-site test execution and resulting problem resolutions. In the case of service assurance then emphasis is placed on the service level agreement and quality of service aspects as opposed to system functionality.

Paradigm
Project:
Supporting the Paradigm Service Delivery Group in the initial definition of the documented case required to confirm that the services delivered over the Skynet-5 UK military satellite system meet service requirements. This involved the production of the supporting assurance case, review of contractor test reports and agreement to any non-conformance incidents.
