Test Labs

Increasing data rates, rapid development in user terminal functionality and developing industry standards, all place a huge demand on equipment and service vendors to reduce their development cycles and produce market leading functionality for their customers within ever reducing development budgets.

Such leading edge user terminal developments are typified by the inclusion of packet and circuit-switched functionality, mobility and 3G services into single fully integrated terminal products.
A key process in the delivery of these new products is Type Approval Testing, or otherwise described as final acceptance, assurance testing or interface conformance testing. This testing is a pre-requisite to the release of a product into its market.

e2E Capability

The e2E Test Lab provides experienced and highly capable Type Approval testing facilities and services at very cost effective rates to address the testing needs of our customer’s terminal equipment. Product failure at this stage in the development cycle is at its most costly, both in terms of engineering costs and missed market opportunity.

Most equipment manufactures do not have the expertise or budgets necessary to create their own in-house Type Approval test facility, particularly when these costs have to be justified within the budget for the single terminal development rather than spread across many terminals.
Third party test houses such as e2E’s Test Lab are able to spread the costs of equipment, staff and overheads across multiple customer testing programs. They are able to invest the resources necessary to procure test equipment and train staff up significant learning curves, for what can sometimes be relatively infrequent campaigns.
