e2E have highly skilled domain experts in satellite in-orbit testing, payload testing and the associated spectrum monitoring systems gained across a number of international satellite programmes. This has ranged from initial feasibility work, tender generation, procurement selection, sub-contract management and the conducting of actual associated test campaigns.

e2E staff have extensive expertise and experience in the development of software according to formal software engineering standards. We are capable of carefully and professionally handling all phases of the software lifecycle, from initial requirements definition, through the design and development of the software, to its final delivery and post-delivery maintenance and support. Our expertise is largely focused on the PSS-05 and ECSS standards published by the European Space Agency (ESA); in practice this allows us to support many diverse industries since the ESA software engineering standards have been widely adopted outside of the space industry.
 

e2E has been involved in system engineering activities across a wide range of telecommunications projects. Such activities have included technical requirements generation, early prototype of proof-of-concept studies, architectural design and detailed design. e2E has also been involved in the independent review of system definitions and in the production of overall system description documents.

Typical services cover team management, subcontractor management, project scheduling, resource management, risk analysis, project level financial management and senior management reporting. e2E has provided project and engineering managers into segment teams that feed into large International programmes. e2E staff have considerable experience in the development of simulators designed to reproduce the behavior of complex communications networks. The simulators developed by e2E staff in both the soft real-time (millisecond response) and hard real-time (micro-second response) domains have been successfully used to support the development and operation of satellite network management and control systems and for the evaluation of next generation military satellite communication networks. In all cases, e2E had to gain considerable domain knowledge in order to ensure that the simulations accurately reproduced the characteristic behavior of the targeted systems.
 

e2E have provided extensive Training Support to both military and commercial cellular customers. In particular, we have managed and delivered Training Programmes/Plans for the Engineering, Operations and Contact Centre Communities in large military and cellular organisations. More importantly many of e2E’s staff have developed and delivered both presentation and hands on training of satellite communications systems to end-users ranging from development and engineering teams through to maintenance support.
